Links with Cumnor School

The Nursery is located in the grounds of Cumnor Primary School in Oxford Road, Cumnor. We are a separate organisation from the School but work closely with them, especially the Reception class. We provide an excellent induction programme to make the transition to school as smooth as possible for those children who go on to Cumnor School after Cumnor Pre-School Nursery.

We are invited to watch plays and rehearsals if they coincide with our sessions. We use the school hall one period a week when available and liaise with the Reception teachers as much as possible. By the time children leave to go into the Reception Class they will have met their teacher, seen their classroom and become familiar with the school environment. We aim to make their transfer into school as easy as possible.
